The common application scenarios of folding filter cartridge mainly include the following three aspects.

High-temperature slag filtration
In this high-temperature filtration environment, the stainless steel pleated membrane filter element is needed. Its high-temperature resistance is higher than that of ordinary pleated filter elements. Generally, it can reach 500 degrees Celsius. The filtration accuracy is usually within 20 to 100 micrometers. It is mainly used to filter molten metal liquid and is used for casting and other work processes after filtration.
Heavy metal wastewater treatment
When dealing with common heavy metal wastewater, the 10-micron pp pleated filter element is mainly used. It is one of the important parts of the pre-treatment process. Through it, copper hydroxide in the metal wastewater is precipitated and intercepted to achieve the effect of protecting the rear-end reverse osmosis RO membrane, thereby extending and improving the service life of the RO membrane by nearly 50%.
Biological pharmaceutical sedimentation and separation
High-precision pp pleated filter cartridges are applied in the biopharmaceutical industry. Such pleated filter cartridges as PES pleated filter elements are used. Their filtration accuracy should be below 1 micron, usually 0.45 microns. They are used in the fermentation liquid to filter the residue of bacteria and microbial impurities. The filtration flow rate can reach three times that of ordinary filter elements, and the filtration effect is better, with purer liquid.
