The precision parameters are the core indicators of large flow filter cartridge, directly determining the quality of the filtering effect. They affect the cleanliness of the fluid, the filtration efficiency, and the service life of the filter element. They are the key basis for adapting to different filtering scenarios. The nominal precision range of high flux filter cartridge is 1 to 100 μm. Different precision grades correspond to different impurity retention capabilities. The specific impact of these precision parameters on the filtering effect mainly manifests in the following three aspects.
High precision (1 to 5 μm) filter elements focus on precise impurity retention, resulting in more accurate and reliable filtering effects. This precision grade can efficiently intercept fine suspended particles, colloids, and other micro impurities in the fluid, significantly improving the cleanliness of the filtered fluid.
Medium precision (10 to 40 μm) filter elements balance effect and flow rate, with more stable filtration efficiency. This precision can efficiently remove medium-sized impurities, such as fine sand, rust, etc., meeting both the requirements of conventional fine filtration and the core advantages of high flow rate, and is widely used in industrial fluid filtration, seawater desalination pre-filtering, etc., being the most commonly used, precision range in industrial filtration.

Low precision (50 to 100 μm) filter elements mainly focus on coarse filtration, with high filtration flow rate but limited cleanliness. Their filter pore diameters are larger, and their core function is to remove large particles in the water body. Not only does it have low filtration resistance and prominent flow rate advantages, but it can also quickly complete the pre-treatment coarse filtration operation. However, due to the size limitation of the filter pores, it cannot effectively intercept fine impurities and is only suitable for pre-filtering scenarios with relatively lower requirements for fluid cleanliness, such as water treatment coarse filtration.
In summary, the precision parameters directly determine the impurity retention capacity and filtering quality of high flow water filter cartridge. When selecting large flux filter element, it is necessary to combine specific filtering requirements, scientifically balance fluid cleanliness and filtration flow rate, in order to fully exert the filtering efficiency of high flow pleated filter element and effectively extend the service life of related equipment.
